The English version of our sexual exploitation awareness and prevention toolkit is now complete. We are aiming to finalize and print the French version by the end of October. Please keep us in your prayers as we move forward with launching this crucial training. Human trafficking and sexual exploitation are epidemics that must be stopped! They are fueled by dark forces, and we need prayerful support as we tackle this issue.
Please pray for the important conversations happening around food insecurity. This issue affects every country on the continent. We are developing a community and local church-based strategy to help households have access the nutritious foods they need.
Please pray for our mobilization efforts. The Assemblies of God World Missions in Africa needs 5-10 compassion focused missionaries within the next five years. As you pray for this - ask yourself if God is calling you!
Pray for the tens of millions of Africans who are displaced and forced from their homes due to natural disasters and conflict. Displaced individuals are highly vulnerable to illness, sexual exploitation, and death.
Keep our African partners and the Assemblies of God churches in Africa in your prayers. Numbering close to 90,000, they are God’s instruments for community transformation as they reach out in word and deed. They are continually navigating changing cultures and threats to health and security. They need great wisdom, and they minister in their communities. Pray for AO as we partner with these amazing churches, creatively looking for ways to partner with them and empower them to touch the tangible needs in their communities.
